(Pierre-) Jacques QuillACQ
Jacques, called "Quiqui" in his youth, was born in Paris on the 1st of september 1929. He had an adventurous life, engaging very early in the French parachutist colonial forces, and soon embarking on his first three years-long engagement in former Indochina. He remained in the Army until 1962, participating until the end in the Vietnam campaign (he was made prisoner at Dien-Bien Phu in 1954), yet re-engaging for the Suez Campaign, to Central Africa operations, and finally to the Algeria war. After Algeria, he tried a few jobs in Paris and France, but after his own parents' death, he moved towards the south and eventually travelled across Andorra. He was startled by it and decided to settle in that little country. He found his love and life companion, Mercedes, who definitely convinced him to become more than a simple bar-tender, and use his cooking skills to have a first-class restaurant.
